ADAPTED TOLEDO
Toledo was an important carpathian port in the Roman times, and there are in fact some traces left of the Roman activity in the city, such as the aqueduct or the circus. Also, for many centuries it was populated by Christians, Jews and Muslims, for which it is known as «the city of the three cultures».
The city is located to the right border of the Tajo, in a hundred meters hill above the river. Since 1986, it is Heritage of Humanity.
